Air Conditioners |
 |
 |
Our
founder Reuben Trane patented his first air
conditioning system in 1931. And to this day, every
air conditioner we make features the durability and
reliability that are the hallmarks of every Trane
product.
Today's air conditioners are more comfortable and
efficient then ever. Whatever size your home,
whenever you need cool, comfortable, cleaner air,
we're dedicated to providing the very best
investment you can make in ensuring the comfort of
you and your family. |

HEAT PUMPS |
 |
 |
Heat pumps are a
great solution for your home comfort system. That’s
because they work to provide both heating and
cooling. Whether it’s the hottest day of the summer,
or the coldest day of winter, Trane heat pumps work
day in and day out to provide your family with
premium comfort.
See how choosing a Trane Heat Pump can make a
difference in your family’s comfort with our heat
pump options below. |

Air Handlers |
 |
 |
An air handler is
an important part of your home’s comfort system.
Your central air conditioning system consists of two
main parts—an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. The
air handler is the indoor unit and its job is to
effectively circulate conditioned air throughout
your home. When matched with a heat pump, it
circulates both cool and hot air, depending on the
season. With properly sized Trane air handlers, your
family has the right amount of clean, comfortable
air all year round.
Plus, Trane air handlers make a significant
contribution to the overall efficiency of your
system. That’s because the more efficient your air
handler is, the less work your outdoor unit has to
do to make your home comfortable. Take a look at our
family of air handlers below to find the product
that best fits your needs. |

A packaged unit contains the
same components you find in a typical split system,
however, they’re all engineered to work together in
one cabinet. And, just like other Trane systems, you
have a variety of efficiency levels and air handling
options to select from. Take a look at our family of
packaged units below. Our brief feature descriptions
will help you find the packaged unit that best fits
your comfort needs. |

A programmable thermostat conserves energy and
saves you money
Trane programmable thermostats are designed to
maximize the performance of your home comfort
systems with reliable, accurate temperature control.
And, because you could program them to raise or
lower the temperature when you're not home, they
also save energy while still maintaining your
standard of comfort. In fact, during the winter you
can save about 3 percent of your heating costs for
every degree you lower your thermostat. During the
summer, you can cut your cooling costs up to 4
percent for every degree you raise your thermostat*.
All you have to do is plan your family's schedule
for the week, follow your thermostat's simple
programming instructions, and then reap the benefits
of lower energy costs and enhanced comfort.
Programming your comfort around your lifestyle
schedule is easy to do
With our programmable thermostats, you start by
simply programming your weekday requirements—when
you wake, when you leave the house, the time you
return home, the time you go to sleep, and the
temperature you want at each of those times. Of
course your schedule will differ on weekends. Most
of our electronic thermostats take this into
consideration, and will let you program accordingly.
However, even after you've set your thermostat, you
still have flexibility. You can temporarily change a
program if your schedule suddenly changes, and you
can update the program as needed.
Our electronic digital thermostats can also be
operated manually without canceling the regular
program. Ease of use, flexibility, energy savings,
and an attractive design—Trane's digital,
programmable thermostats keep you in touch with your
heating and air conditioning system and your
family's comfort.
*Potential energy savings may vary depending on
your personal lifestyle, system settings, equipment
maintenance, local climate, actual construction, and
installation of equipment and duct systems. |

GAS
FURNACES (PROPANE AND NATURAL GAS) |
 |
 |
All winter long,
you depend on your furnace to meet the heating needs
of your home and your family. That’s why we build
Trane furnaces to perform again and again, year
after year. Beyond performance, we also provide you
with options for energy-efficient operation. In
fact, some of our furnaces operate at over 90%
efficiency, which means that 90% of the fuel you pay
for is actually converted into heat for your home.
Take a look at the furnaces below and experience the
Trane difference. |
